Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, and we have fun adn meaningful opportuites at the Y. You can coach or mentor is one our our youth and teen programs or camps. The Knox County YMCA is volunteer founded and volunteer led
by a Board of Directors. Collectively, YMCA's are the largest not-for-profit
community service organization in the United States. This stature
cannot occur without the dedication of some 600,000 volunteers nationwide.
Currently, there are over 300 volunteers on an annual basis
who give their time to sustain the operations of the Knox County
YMCA.
